Local Marks When we observe symbols, we form links and associations to various brands, places and societies. In this body of work I sought to create a language of icons which, to me, symbolize Israeli nature and culture. I created a series of glass vessels using a technique of sculpting and blowing hot glass, inspired by Egyptian hieroglyphics and Wedgwood porcelain decorated with symbols and characters from ancient Greece.
