Earth The project attempts to transform material into scent: to manifest texture, emotion and experience through our sense of smell and explore how one might use it to design the air within a space. At an age full of visual stimuli and a great deal of distracting noise, our sense of smell provides a grounding moment of presence, a place of quiet and inner connection. This collection of smells was developed around the concept of “earth” – both the material and the symbol, with all the significance it carries with it.
